The Municipality of Antiparos has asked all its citizens and the visitors of the island to make big savings in water consumption.
This is because there are increased tourist arrivals on the island during August and the water consumption in Antiparos is at unprecedented levels.
The consequence of this is that the water that comes daily in the tanks of the Municipality from its drilling is currently marginally sufficient to meet daily consumption needs.
The Municipality asks for everyone to cooperate and asks for:
- NO watering
- NO car washing
- NO washing of porches
- NO fillings of swimming pools
